Surprises

Julie Haydon

One of the best parts about hiking my local trails every day is seeing the subtle shifts that happen from week to week. Each week, I pass by the same places and watch dozens of tiny developments unfold within each season. I am easily distracted by the illusion that there might be a faster way to reach the sunlight, but the reality is, I will never get there without a healthy foundation.
